It is made up of 1 or 2 vertical upenders and a column with a drum wheel on top. Recommended for low carbon steel up to Ø 16 mm. Reinforced version can pay off up to Ø 20 mm.
An upgraded solution to pay off larger diameters than those mentioned above or material other than low carbon, is made up of 1 or 2 upenders that can operate either as fixed (overhead unwinding) or rotating (tangential unwinding).
It is made up of a horizontal beam on which 1 or more rod coils are loaded. Additional coils other than first can be loaded without having to stop the ongoing coil pay-off operations.
Recommended for high carbon steel from 8 to 25 mm. It allows ceaseless rolling if coupled with a vertical butt welder. It is conceived not to damage rod surface.
